Farmers and land owners in South Georgia have been the
targets of thieves who steal valuable wire off of large irrigation systems known
as Pivots. Often striking at night, they can cost farmers thousands of dollars
in repairs, down equipment time, and crops. Major Alan Lamarche stated that 99% of the thefts
have occurred on lands not protected by Plantation Security, Inc. He added, "In this
difficult economy, we should all pool our resources to protect each other
and put these criminals behind bars. These rogues are getting more and
more brazen. It is only a matter of time before a PSI Officer or a deputy sheriff
confront them on our clients' property, and it won't be pretty. They will go to

South Georgia and North Florida for over 30 years. PSI is once
again teaming up with South Georgia Sheriffs by guaranteeing a
$1000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these
irrigation wire thieves who steal from any PSI client.
In addition a $100.00 REWARD is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction
of any person(s) for any irrigation wire theft in 2011 from irrigation systems on any other property in
south Georgia where the County Sheriff is teaming up with PSI through January 2012.
The reward money is being guaranteed by Plantation Security, Inc. Criminal investigations will be handeled by
cooperating Sheriff's Departments.
